Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering at Gomal University is a rigorous and future-focused undergraduate program designed to produce technically competent, ethically grounded, and innovation-driven engineers. The program is housed within the Department of Electrical Engineering, a key academic unit of the Faculty of Engineering &amp; Technology, and reflects the university\u2019s commitment to excellence in engineering education and research.<\/p><p>The program was first launched in 2011 as BSc Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering, responding to the growing demand for skilled professionals in the rapidly expanding telecom sector. In 2022, the program was broadened and renamed to BSc Electrical Engineering to reflect the evolving technological landscape better and to encompass a wider spectrum of specialization areas within electrical engineering, including power and communication.<\/p><p>Since its commencement, the program has been accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), ensuring compliance with national academic and professional standards. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan with at least 60% unadjusted marks. OR<\/li><li>A certificate equivalent to the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) examination with at least 60% unadjusted marks. Such candidates shall have to produce an \u201cEquivalence and conversion of marks certificate\u201d issued by the IBCC, along with the application form. Pakistani Nationals are further required to have qualified in the subjects of Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, and Urdu at either the SSC or the Intermediate levels.<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Must have appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA)\/NTS\/ETC\/any other Engineering test conducted for BS admission in PEC-recognized institutions.
