Department of Basic Veterinary Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (FVAS), Gomal University, serves as the <strong>academic foundation of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program<\/strong>. The department provides students with essential knowledge of <strong>animal anatomy, histology, physiology, pharmacology, and biochemistry<\/strong>, establishing a strong scientific basis for understanding animal health, disease, and clinical veterinary sciences.<\/p><p>The department offers practical and laboratory-based education through specialized <strong>Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry Laboratories<\/strong>. These facilities provide students with hands-on training, develop essential scientific and technical skills, and strengthen the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical veterinary applications.<\/p><p>In addition to teaching and practical training, the department provides an academic and laboratory environment that supports <strong>undergraduate, postgraduate, and faculty research<\/strong> in basic veterinary and biomedical sciences. Through quality education, practical training, research, and scientific innovation, the department contributes to the development of <strong>competent, ethical, and professionally skilled veterinary
