DIPLOMA IN VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES
Introduction
The diploma is a 3‑year program aimed at students with Matric‑level education (minimum 45% marks) in science. It is offered by the Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences under Gomal University and recognized by the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC)
Throughout the program, students receive training in areas such as animal health, livestock production, poultry sciences, wildlife management, and artisan livestock services. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with practical field and lab work, preparing graduates to assist in clinical, farm, or community veterinary services,
Admission to the diploma involves passing an entry test and interview conducted by the university, ensuring suitability for technical veterinary roles Upon completion, graduates can pursue technical positions such as livestock or veterinary assistant roles, support staff in livestock farms, poultry units, wildlife rehabilitation, or continue into related undergraduate programs.
