is one of the pioneer departments of Gomal University that started functioning soon after the inception of the University in 1974. Public Administration is exclusively focused on preparing students as future administrator, manager, and leader in the government or nonprofit organizations.

The Department aims to provide educational opportunities that will enable prospective public office bearers to become skillful, creative, ethical and inspirational leaders. Furthermore, it provides an understanding and application of principles required for effective public management, develops understanding about how to formulate and implement public policy. This program is designed to help students to apply analytical and research skills in public organizations, demonstrate proficiency in communicating ideas and perspectives about policy matters. Additionally, it will upgrade their skills in public administration resulting in greater efficiency and effectiveness of public sector organizations.
