Introduction

In response to the evolving academic trends and societal requirements, the board has reaffirmed its approval for the B.S. Political Science 4 Year (8 semester) Program. Deliberately designed to align with the contemporary educational landscape, the scheme of studies and comprehensive course outlines for the program have been carefully crafted under the guidance of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The B.S. Political Science program spans across eight semesters, totaling 132 credit hours, offering students a robust and well-rounded academic experience. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the program aims to equip students with the essential skills and understanding to navigate the complexities of political science in today’s dynamic world.

During this phase, students have the option to choose between two distinctive paths: either undertake research work and complete a thesis of 06 credit hours, delving into a specific area of political science, or opt to explore further knowledge by reading two additional subjects, each carrying 03 credit hours

As the Department of Political Science at Gomal University, we are committed to providing an inclusive and enriching learning environment that promotes intellectual growth, fosters global perspectives, and prepares graduates for diverse career opportunities in the field of political science. Through this program, we aspire to empower our students to be catalysts for positive change, driving progress and contributing to the advancement of our nation and the world at large.
