Doctorate of Philosophy /PhD in Horticulture
Introduction
The department started the classes of PhD in Horticulture in 1999. The students are being taught the advanced courses of Horticulture during the first two semesters, after which they have to conduct a Research work under the supervision of a supervisor, have to write a research thesis and then have to defend it in Public (Public defense) to get the Degree of PhD in Horticulture.

Entery Requirements
16 Years of Education, M.Sc. (Hons) in Sports Sciences and Physical Education, with minimum 45% marks, from an accredited institution.
