Introduction

Objective of BS Pakistan Study was developed to providing instruction, research, and dissemination of knowledge of the world to an international student body, the Department is committed to develop its capacity in all fields of History and Pakistan Studies. For this purpose, the Scheme of Studies of the Department is threefold focusing on Pakistan, Muslim World and rest of the World. As a whole, it covers evolution of human society in terms of historical, political, economic, scientific and technological developments happened in all eras and areas of the world. A BS graduate of the Department should be knowledgeable, research oriented, and skillful having a balanced analytical approach and world view. He should be keen to serve the humanity without any racial, regional or religious discrimination. It will make him a useful citizen not only of his native land but a source of positive social change within his global village.

With these aims and objectives, the Department hopes to play a significant role for the development and betterment of Pakistan and Muslim World in particular and the modern day’s global village in general.
